“Still faster on big files than anything browser-based”

Used daily for 2+ years

Fifteen years of refinement shows. On a heavy document the native Mac app remains noticeably quicker than the browser tools, and the symbol system is mature. Our all-Mac team has no reason to move.

Pros

Native performance, precision, mature libraries. The licence option beats subscriptions long-term.

Cons

Mac-only editing rules out half the industry. Ecosystem has shrunk.

“Lost the war, still a good tool”

Used monthly for 2+ years

We migrated to Figma because new designers arrive knowing it and our Windows engineers could not open our files. Nothing about Sketch was bad; the platform constraint decided it.

Pros

Fast, precise, pleasant to use. Handoff via the web workspace is adequate.

Cons

No true multiplayer editing. Hiring designers with Sketch experience is getting hard.
