“The safest choice for mixed organizations”

Used weekly for 2+ years

Across client rollouts, Asana consistently gets the broadest adoption — ops, marketing, HR and engineering can all live with it. It is rarely anyone’s favorite and never anyone’s blocker. Timeline and workload views carry the value for planning-heavy teams.

Pros

Universal usability, mature integrations, reliable performance.

Cons

Deep work management (estimates, sprints) is bolted on, not native.

“Serviceable for clinical project tracking”

We coordinate facility projects across departments. Custom fields cover our compliance checkpoints and the audit trail on task history satisfied review. Wish list: better recurring-task handling for monthly audits and cheaper advanced tiers for cost centers like ours.
