“Multi-state payroll needed the Plus tier”
Used monthly for 6–12 months
Worth knowing that once you employ someone in a second state you are on Plus at $80 plus $12 a head, not Simple. Still fair value, but it changed our budgeting.
Pros
Multi-state handling is correct and automatic once you are on the right plan.
Cons
The tier jump for multi-state was not obvious during evaluation.
