That is the whole reason we are here. Candidates compare our health plan against much larger employers and we hold up. Payroll and compliance being handled is almost a bonus.

Pros

Large-group health access, 24/7 human support that actually answers.

Cons

You pick from their plan menu. Leaving the PEO later means rebuilding insurance from scratch.

Problems it solves

Stopped losing candidates on benefits comparisons.

“Simple, predictable, deliberately limited”

Used monthly for 1–2 years

Everything works and the pricing is published, which is rare for a PEO. Do not come expecting configurability — policies, reviews and reporting are basic by design.

Pros

Transparent pricing, easy payroll, excellent support.

Cons

Little customisation. No performance management or IT provisioning.

“Understand the co-employment model first”

Nobody explained clearly during the sales process that exiting a PEO means re-establishing our own insurance and workers comp. We are staying, but it is a bigger commitment than a software subscription and should be framed that way.

Pros

Benefits and compliance genuinely handled. Support is responsive.

Cons

Exit costs are real and were not clear up front. Limited plan choice.
