monday boards were fine but every brief lived in Google Docs, disconnected. ClickUp docs attach to the work itself. Pricing was also roughly half for our seat count at the tier we needed. Migration was the messiest part — exports needed manual cleanup.

Migration tooling oversold; notification defaults are firehose-level.
