“Six months in and it has not lost its edge”
Used daily for 6–12 months
The novelty wore off and the productivity did not. Codebase indexing means new features come out matching our conventions, and the review burden is lower than with tools that write generic code I then rewrite. It is the first AI tool I would genuinely miss.
Pros
Suggestions fit our codebase rather than a tutorial. Migration from VS Code was trivial.
Cons
Usage costs still need watching on heavy weeks.

Cut the time from ticket to first working draft roughly in half.
