My app got to the point where every fix broke something else and I was going in circles. Emergent handled the same project without losing track of what already existed. I do not know if it is the context window or the agent structure, but the difference was obvious within a day.
Pros
Coherence on a project of real size. The conversation asks about things I had not thought through.
Cons
Standard credits lasted about three weeks and Pro is ten times the price.
Problems it solves
Got a stalled project moving again instead of abandoning it.

“Good product, awkward pricing ladder”
Used weekly for 6–12 months
Twenty dollars buys a hundred credits, which is a fortnight if you are actually building. The next step is two hundred. There is no sensible middle and I resent having to choose between under-served and over-paying. The tool itself I like a great deal.
Pros
Genuinely capable. Deployment handled without me thinking about it.
Cons
The tier gap is the worst pricing design I have seen in this category.

“Newer, so expect fewer answers when stuck”
Used monthly for 6–12 months
It works well, but when something goes wrong there is no Stack Overflow thread and the docs are thin. With Bolt or Lovable someone has always had my problem already. That is a real cost when you are not a developer.
Pros
Strong on larger builds. Free tier let me test properly before paying.
Cons
Small community. Documentation assumes more than it should.
