They genuinely do not know who I am

Used daily for 2+ years

An account number, no email, and I paid in cash the first year to prove the point. Every other provider asks for an address and a card. If your threat model is real, that structural difference matters more than any feature.

Pros

Anonymity is architectural rather than promised. Flat pricing with no games at renewal.

Cons

Netflix does not work and they have been clear they will not chase it.

Problems it solves

A VPN with no account linking my subscription to my identity.

Five euros, forever, no negotiation

Used daily for 1–2 years

After years of cancelling and resubscribing elsewhere to dodge renewal increases, paying one honest price is a relief. It costs more than a two-year introductory deal and less than any of those deals renew at.

Pros

Pricing integrity. Excellent WireGuard implementation.

Cons

Smaller network means occasional congestion on popular exits.

Wrong choice if you want to watch things

Used daily for 6–12 months

Bought it on a privacy recommendation and could not stream anything geo-restricted. That is a documented position rather than a bug, but nobody told me before I paid. Now I use it for work and something else for TV.

Pros

Rock solid for privacy and general browsing.

Cons

Streaming simply does not work and is not meant to.
