Used weekly for 6–12 months
I had been quoted eighteen thousand pounds for an MVP. I described the app to Rork after dinner and was using it on my own phone before bed. It is not finished software and I knew that going in, but it answered the question of whether the idea worked.
Pros
Testing on a real device immediately. React Native means a developer can pick it up later.
Cons
Junior ran out in about three weeks. Push notifications took several attempts.
Problems it solves
Validated a mobile idea for £25 instead of a five-figure quote.
