Cloud profiles mean whoever picks up an account opens the same profile from wherever they are. With local-first tools we were exporting and importing constantly and occasionally getting it wrong.
Pros
Genuine device independence. Easiest tool to onboard someone onto.
Cons
Loading a profile at busy times takes longer than I would like.
Problems it solves
Removed profile handoff between team members entirely.
