“Free tier is enough for occasional use”
Used weekly for 1–2 years
As a consultant I need current facts a few times a week, not daily. The free tier covers that comfortably and the citations mean I can drop a source straight into a client deck. I upgraded for two months during a heavy project and downgraded after.
Pros
Genuinely useful free tier. Easy to pay only for the months you need.
Cons
Rivals have added web search with citations, which narrows the advantage.
