“Our compliance library stopped going stale”

Used weekly for 1–2 years

Forty modules that legally must reflect current policy. Previously a policy change meant either a studio day or shipping something out of date. Now it is a script edit and a re-render the same afternoon. That is the entire business case.

Pros

Script-edit-and-rerender is transformative for anything that changes. Multilingual coverage is excellent.

Cons

Learners occasionally comment that the presenter looks odd. Fine internally, would not use it externally.

Problems it solves

Compliance video updates went from a quarterly project to a same-day task.

“Right for internal, wrong for our campaigns”

Used monthly for 6–12 months

We tried it for a customer-facing product launch and the feedback was blunt — people spotted it immediately and it read as cheap. Moved it to internal comms where it works well and nobody minds. Know which side of that line you are on.

Pros

Fast, cheap and repeatable for internal video.

Cons

External audiences notice. Creative control is limited compared with real production.
