We used to design in Figma and pay a developer to build it. Now the designer builds it and the output is better than what we were getting. Our client sites went from mid-70s to high-90s on mobile Lighthouse without anyone optimising anything.
Pros
Output quality and performance. CMS collections scale properly. Designers stop filing tickets.
Cons
Two of our five designers never got comfortable with it. It genuinely requires understanding CSS concepts.
