“The only one that passed our audit requirements”

Used daily for 1–2 years

We needed separated environments, approval before anything reaches production, and an audit trail showing who changed what. The SMB tools genuinely cannot do this. Workato could, and that ended the evaluation regardless of price.

Pros

Environment promotion and RBAC done properly. NetSuite connector saved months of work.

Cons

Expensive. Implementation needed a partner and took a quarter.

Problems it solves

Made automation auditable enough for our compliance function to approve.

“Right tool, painful price conversation”

Used weekly for 1–2 years

It does what it promises and the connectors are genuinely better than anything else we tried against SAP. Justifying a five-figure annual contract to a finance director who has heard of Zapier is a specific kind of meeting, so bring the integration-hours maths.

Pros

Enterprise system connectors are in a different league. Scales without per-task worry.

Cons

Cost. Recipe builder is functional rather than enjoyable.
