Typeform vs Tally: Which is better in 2026?

Typeform costs $25 a month for 100 responses; Tally is free for unlimited. That gap has to buy something, and sometimes it does. Typeform's one-question-at-a-time format measurably improves completion — one of our reviewers moved an unchanged qualification form across and went from 34% to 61%. When a response is a lead worth thousands, that difference pays for any plan many times over. For everything else the maths is brutal: internal request forms, feedback forms and event signups get no benefit from conversational presentation, and Tally's editor builds them faster anyway. The pattern our reviewers keep arriving at independently is a split — Typeform on the two or three forms where completion has commercial value, Tally on the other fifteen. It is an inelegant setup forced entirely by Typeform's response pricing, and it is cheaper than either tool alone.
