“Raised the floor across 60 people”
Used daily for 2+ years
We did not need better writers, we needed fewer badly-written customer emails. Grammarly Business with a company style guide fixed that in a month, mostly because nobody has to remember to use it — it is just there in Outlook.
Pros
Ubiquity. Style guide enforcement. Tone detection has prevented several emails I would have regretted.
Cons
The generative side is unremarkable; we still use a separate assistant for drafting.
Problems it solves
Customer-facing writing quality became consistent without training anyone.
