“My accountant asked for it by name”

Used weekly for 2+ years

That decided it, and in hindsight it was the right call. Year-end took two conversations instead of the week of back-and-forth I had with my previous software. The workflow saving outweighs any feature comparison.

Pros

Every accountant knows it. Bank reconciliation is genuinely the best I have used.

Cons

User caps by tier are annoying. The renewal price after the intro discount is a shock.

Problems it solves

Year-end went from a dreaded week to two short calls.

“Every app we use already connects to it”

Shopify, Stripe, our payroll and our inventory tool all had a first-class QuickBooks integration with no middleware. That ecosystem breadth saved more time than any single feature, and it is the thing the cheaper alternatives could not match for us.

Pros

Largest integration ecosystem by a distance. Reconciliation is quick once bank rules learn your patterns.

Cons

The intro discount ending was an unpleasant surprise — compare renewal prices.
