Buy a gigabyte, use it whenever — no monthly commitment, no credits evaporating at the end of a billing cycle. For seasonal work, occasional research or a project that stops and starts, that alone is decisive.

Prices are the lowest here across residential, datacentre and mobile, and its Pawns programme — where users are paid to share bandwidth — is at least an explicit consent mechanism rather than an unexplained supply chain. For undefended targets, personal projects and price-sensitive collection, it does the job at a fraction of the leaders' cost.

The performance gap is real and appeared clearly in testing. Success rates on our two most heavily defended targets were the lowest of the five, and latency was more variable. Support is email-led and slower, and the pool is smaller. For a business dependent on reliable daily collection, that variability is a genuine operational cost.
