What is SOAX?
SOAX sells access to residential and mobile proxy networks through credit-based plans, with one per-GB rate across both networks. The company, SOAX LTD, is incorporated in England and Wales, and its About page says it was founded in 2020 by five co-founders. The residential page cites 155+ million IPs in 195+ locations, and the mobile page 33+ million IPs on 5G, 4G, 3G and LTE.
Every connection goes to one gateway, proxy.soax.com:1337, and the proxy username carries a package key along with targeting, session and error-handling rules. A proxy package separates access for a team, project or use case, each with its own authentication, routing, access rules, limits and usage tracking, and the plan sets how many packages an account gets. IPs can rotate per request, after a set number of requests, after a set time or on error, or stay on one node in a sticky session; mobile sessions hold an IP for up to 60 minutes. The homepage lists HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, and the residential and mobile pages add UDP and QUIC. SOAX names data collection, ecommerce data, price monitoring, SEO monitoring, brand protection and cybersecurity among its uses.
Accounts are managed in a web dashboard with a Quick Connect builder, or through an API with keys and a reference, and the proxies work with any tool that supports standard proxy protocols. Each plan includes monthly credits, worth $1 each, that are spent on traffic at a per-GB rate set by the plan and the location's geo tier. Prices exclude VAT.

SOAX fits teams that run several projects or clients through one proxy account. Proxy packages give each one its own credentials, routing, limits and usage tracking, from 2 packages on Sandbox to 10 on Enterprise. Residential and mobile traffic cost the same per GB, so moving a job onto mobile IPs doesn't change the rate. Rotation can be set per request, after a number of requests, on a timer or on error, and concurrent sessions are unlimited.
Rates depend on the plan and the geo tier, and the United States is tier 1. Builder costs $200 a month with 200 credits and charges $3 per GB for US traffic, so 50 GB a month uses $150 of credits and leaves 50 to roll over for 60 days. Sandbox has no fee and no credits, and its $5 per GB tier 1 rate puts the same 50 GB at $250 in top-ups. Team, at $500 a month, cuts the tier 1 rate to $2.20 per GB, Scale at $1,500 to $1.50, and Enterprise at $3,000 to as little as $0.85, depending on volume. All prices exclude VAT.
The credit model has sharp edges. Credits on Sandbox and monthly plans expire 60 days after they're added, unused credits aren't refunded on cancellation or downgrade, and plan, top-up and overage fees are non-refundable outside the cases the terms list. An unpaid renewal invoice drops the account to Sandbox. ASN and ZIP targeting start on Scale, at $1,500 a month. The plans cover residential and mobile only, with no datacenter or ISP proxies, and SOAX describes SOC 2 and ISO 27001 as in progress rather than held. Paid access requires KYC or KYB verification, and the pricing page says there's no free trial.
Choose SOAX if you'll spend at least $200 a month on residential or mobile traffic and want to keep projects or clients apart inside one account. For a few GB a month, Decodo's residential bundles start at $11.25 for 3 GB with ZIP and ASN targeting included. Buyers whose usage is irregular can look at IPRoyal, whose residential traffic never expires, at $7.35 per GB for 1 GB or $5.51 per GB at 10 GB.

How do SOAX credits work?
Credits are prepaid usage worth $1 each. Plans include a monthly allowance (200 on Builder, 500 on Team, 1,500 on Scale and 3,000 on Enterprise), traffic is deducted at the plan's per-GB rate for the geo tier, and top-ups cover anything beyond. Credits added on Sandbox or a monthly plan expire 60 days after they're added, or after 12 months on an annual plan, and the credits closest to expiry are spent first.
Is SOAX free?
Not in practice. The Sandbox plan has no subscription fee but includes no credits, so all traffic is paid from top-ups at $5, $4 or $2 per GB depending on the geo tier. SOAX's pricing page says there's no free trial and calls Sandbox the no-commitment option. Sandbox allows 2 proxy packages and 1 team member, with basic support.
How much does SOAX cost?
Paid plans cost $200 a month for Builder, $500 for Team, $1,500 for Scale and $3,000 for Enterprise, plus VAT, and each includes as many credits as it costs in dollars. Can you get a refund from SOAX?
Generally not. SOAX's terms say plan fees, top-up credit fees and overage fees are non-refundable except in the cases they list, and unused credits aren't refunded when you cancel or downgrade. If a renewal invoice goes unpaid, the account drops to the Sandbox plan. Because credits on monthly plans expire 60 days after they're added, buying top-ups close to when they'll be used avoids losing them.
Does SOAX require identity verification?
Yes, for paid access. SOAX's KYC/KYB policy makes identity verification a condition of paid use, and SOAX may verify an account again at any time, using third-party providers. Its trust page says only pre-approved use cases are allowed and the network is monitored 24/7.
