SOAX
Fine-grained targeting for residential and mobile
- SOAX Ltd. · United Kingdom
- Since 2019
Key takeaways
from our research
Most granular targeting here — country, region, city and mobile carrier
Strong real 4G/5G mobile pool selectable by operator
Smaller pool than the leaders, which shows on very large jobs
Volume discounts are shallower than rivals'
Our verdict
SOAX is the provider to choose when where the request appears to come from matters as much as whether it succeeds. Its targeting is the most granular here — country, region, city and specific mobile carrier — which for ad verification, local search checking and price monitoring across regions is a functional requirement rather than a nicety.
The mobile pool is a particular strength. Real carrier-assigned 4G and 5G addresses selectable by operator, which few competitors offer with the same precision and which passes checks that residential IPs increasingly do not. Rotation control is clean and its dashboard makes session configuration clearer than most.
Its weaknesses are scale and price at volume. The pool is smaller than the leaders', which shows as reduced diversity on very large jobs, and per-gigabyte costs do not fall as sharply with commitment as Decodo's or Oxylabs'. Support is competent though several reviewers describe slower first responses than the enterprise vendors.
Our guidance: excellent for geographically precise work and mobile-heavy use cases. For raw volume at the lowest cost per success, Decodo is better value and Bright Data more reliable.

“Carrier-level targeting is genuinely rare”
Used daily for 1–2 years
We verify mobile ad delivery and needed to appear on specific carriers in specific cities. Most providers offer country selection and shrug. SOAX let us pick the operator, which is the entire requirement.

“Great for local SEO checking”
Used weekly for 6–12 months
Checking rankings from a specific city rather than a country changed what we could report to local clients. SOAX handles that cleanly and the sessions are stable enough to run a full check.
