What is Oxylabs?
Oxylabs sells proxies and web scraping tools. Its About page dates the company to 2015 and places its headquarters in Vilnius, Lithuania. The proxy range covers residential, mobile, ISP, dedicated ISP and datacenter IPs, and Oxylabs cites 175M+ residential IPs, 20M+ mobile IPs in 140+ countries and a datacenter pool of 1.9M+ IPs in 188 countries. Next to the proxies it sells Web Unblocker, Web Scraper API and Agent Browser.
Residential traffic goes to a single backconnect entry node, pr.oxylabs.io:7777, and each request gets a random IP unless parameters in the username say otherwise. Those parameters set continent, country, state, city, ZIP code (US), ASN, coordinates or geohash, and a session ID keeps one IP for 10 minutes by default or up to 1,440 minutes. Connections use HTTP, HTTPS, HTTP/3 or SOCKS5, and whitelisted IPs can stand in for passwords. Web Scraper API adds JavaScript rendering, a Custom Parser, result storage and a Scheduler. Oxylabs presents its products for collecting search results and web data, including data for AI agents, model training and retrieval-augmented generation.
Customers work in a web dashboard that includes a Web Scraper API Playground, with Python and Go SDKs, a Chrome proxy extension and integration guides for Selenium, Puppeteer, Playwright and Scrapy. Proxies are sold as monthly plans with a fixed allowance: residential and mobile by the GB, ISP by the IP, and datacenter by the IP or the GB. Web Scraper API plans are monthly too and charge for successful results.

Oxylabs fits companies with a predictable monthly volume that want detailed targeting included in the price. Residential geo-targeting down to ZIP code is free, the username parameters also reach ASN, coordinates and geohash, and sessions can last up to 24 hours. Every residential plan lists unlimited concurrent sessions, 3 proxy users and 10 whitelisted IPs, which lets a small team share one account. HTTP/3 support sits alongside HTTP, HTTPS and SOCKS5, and Web Scraper API charges for successful results, with a free trial covering 2,000 of them.
Flexibility is the weak point. The pricing pages show no pay-as-you-go option, so every proxy purchase is a monthly plan with a fixed traffic or IP allowance, and residential plans are topped up from the dashboard, by up to 100 GB, when traffic runs short. The refund window closes 3 calendar days after the first transaction, with less than 20% of traffic used on Regular plans, and payouts can take 15 business days. Every customer fills out a KYC form, unusual use cases get reviewed, and the residential trial is available only on request through a contact form.
Residential Starter costs $30 a month for 5 GB ($6 per GB), Basic $100 for 20 GB ($5), Advanced $500 for 125 GB ($4) and Corporate $2,500 for 1 TB ($2.50). At 50 GB a month Basic falls short, so the choice is Basic plus top-ups or Advanced at $500 with room to spare. Mobile plans start at the same $30, for 4 GB ($7.50 per GB). Shared ISP proxies start at $16 a month for 10 IPs, dedicated datacenter IPs at $2.25 each ($6.75 for 3), and Web Scraper API at $49 a month for up to 98,000 results.
Choose Oxylabs if your traffic is steady and you need fine targeting for a few users on one account. Teams with uneven months should look at Bright Data, which sells residential traffic pay as you go at $8 per GB with no monthly minimum. For a flat 50 GB a month, Decodo's 50 GB residential bundle costs $150, well under the Advanced plan, though Advanced includes 125 GB.

Does Oxylabs offer pay as you go?
No. Oxylabs' pricing pages list only monthly plans with a fixed traffic or IP allowance, billed monthly, and residential plans can be topped up from the dashboard by up to 100 GB when the allowance runs out. Does Oxylabs have a free trial?
Partly. A residential trial is available once, on request through a contact form, and new accounts get 5 free datacenter IPs. Web Scraper API has a free trial that covers 2,000 results. Oxylabs doesn't state a trial length in days. Because refunds must be requested within 3 calendar days of the first purchase, these trials are the low-risk way to try the network before paying for a plan.
What is Oxylabs' refund policy?
Refunds cover self-service products only and must be requested within 3 calendar days of the first transaction. Less than 20% of the plan's traffic may be used on Regular plans (10% on Enterprise), and the account can't have a suspension, a chargeback or an earlier refund. How do sessions and targeting work on Oxylabs residential proxies?
Everything is set in the proxy username. Requests go to one entry node, pr.oxylabs.io:7777, and get a random IP unless parameters say otherwise. A sessid parameter keeps the same IP for 10 minutes by default, sesstime extends that up to 1,440 minutes, and sessid_oneip binds the session to one exit node and returns a 502 error if that node drops. Targeting covers continent, country, state, city, ZIP code (US), ASN, coordinates and geohash.
