Key takeaways
from our research
Full white-labelling — clients never see the Duda brand
Granular permissions let clients edit content without breaking layout
Strong performance defaults and built-in personalisation rules
Priced and designed for volume; poor value for a single personal site
Our verdict
Duda is the only builder here designed around managing many sites rather than one. White-label the whole editor under your own brand, define exactly what a client may edit, duplicate a proven site as a template, and manage the portfolio from one dashboard. For an agency running thirty client sites that is the difference between a business and a chore.
The client handover story is the standout. Permissions are granular enough to let a restaurant owner change opening hours and prices while making it impossible to break the layout — the specific failure mode that generates agency support tickets. Combined with genuinely strong performance defaults and built-in personalisation rules, it is a well-judged product for its buyer.
For everyone else it is a harder sell. Individual pricing starts higher than Squarespace or Wix for a less inspiring template library, and the design flexibility sits below both. Reviewers who bought it for a single personal site are consistently the least enthusiastic; those running client work are among the most loyal in this category.
Our guidance: if you build sites for other people, evaluate Duda seriously — the volume tooling pays for itself quickly. If you are building one site for yourself, buy Squarespace or Wix instead.

“Cut our client support tickets by two thirds”
Used daily for 2+ years
The permissions model is the product. Clients can update text, prices and images and physically cannot move a section or break the grid. That one capability removed most of our inbound "the site looks weird now" emails.

“Right economics at thirty sites”
Used daily for 1–2 years
Per-site builders were costing us more than the retainer on smaller clients. Agency pricing changed that maths, and managing everything from one dashboard saved a genuine day a month in admin.

“Wrong tool for one personal site”
Used monthly for less than 6 months
Bought it on a recommendation from an agency friend and paid more than Squarespace for a less attractive result. Everything valuable about it is for people managing sites at volume, which is not me.
