What is Duda?
Duda is a website builder from Duda, Inc., a US company founded in 2009, sold to agencies, freelancers and other businesses that build websites for clients. One account holds many sites. Each plan includes a set number of published sites, and every site published beyond that is billed as a subscription of its own.
Sites are built in a browser editor. Editor 2.0 lays out sections with flex and grid, and a change to an element's size or position at one breakpoint stays at that breakpoint. From the Team plan up, collections hold lists of items with the same fields, and dynamic pages give each item a page of its own; on Agency and higher plans a collection can draw from Google Sheets or Airtable. Team members can open every site in the account, while client accounts see only the sites and permissions the agency grants. The White Label plan shows clients the agency's logo, colors and domain instead of Duda's.
Duda's blog has authors, tags and scheduled posts. The native store sells physical and digital products, services, tickets, gift vouchers and donations through Stripe, PayPal, Square or Mollie, with tax through Avalara and shipping through Easyship, and it's billed as a separate subscription for each site. Duda hosts every site on AWS with a CloudFront CDN. The editor runs in current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Safari, and the mobile editor was retired in July 2026. Plans are billed monthly or yearly, with yearly plans charged upfront.

Duda makes sense for agencies and freelancers whose business is building and looking after websites for other companies. Client accounts are unlimited from the Team plan up, each client sees only the sites and permissions the agency grants, and the White Label plan puts the agency's logo, colors and domain on the editor the client logs in to. Hosting on AWS, with unlimited bandwidth and storage, comes with every plan.
The weak points show up when a site has to leave Duda, or arrive from somewhere else. Site Export starts on the Agency plan and produces static files: the store, blog and dynamic pages stay behind, and contact forms stop working. Bringing an existing site in means rebuilding it, which Duda puts at 3 to 5 hours per site. API access, single sign-on and collections fed from an external database are reserved for the custom-priced plan. There's been no mobile editor since July 2026.
Prices are per account. Basic costs $25 a month, or $19 a month billed yearly, for one published site with no team seats or client accounts. Team, at $39 a month or $29 billed yearly, adds 3 seats and client accounts but still covers one site. Agency is the plan most agencies will need: $69 a month, or $52 a month billed yearly, for 4 published sites, 6 seats and site export, with each further site at $17 a month or $168 a year. From the third site it costs less than Team plus extra sites, and ten live client sites come to $171 a month on monthly billing. Stores are priced per site, from $8 a month ($7 billed yearly) for 100 products, and Duda lists a 0% transaction fee on every store plan.
Choose Duda if you resell websites and want clients to log in to a branded editor where they can change only what you allow. A business building one site for itself would pay for agency tools it won't use. Squarespace's Core plan, at $29 a month billed yearly, includes unlimited contributors and charges no Squarespace fee on store sales. Agencies that design every site from scratch in CSS should compare Webflow, whose Agency Workspace plan includes 3 free client seats per site.

How much does Duda cost?
Duda prices its plans per account. Basic costs $25 a month or $19 a month billed yearly, Team $39 or $29, Agency $69 or $52, and White Label $199 or $149, with yearly plans charged upfront. Basic and Team include one published site, and Agency and White Label include four. Each extra site costs $19 a month or $171 a year on Basic, and $17 a month or $168 a year on the other plans. Does Duda have a free trial?
Yes. Duda offers a 14-day free trial that needs no credit card and includes the White Label plan's features, such as custom branding, though there's no free plan to stay on afterward. Duda's terms give a 30-day money-back guarantee on most subscriptions and no refunds after that period. Cancelling a site immediately doesn't refund the rest of its billing cycle, and a site whose auto-renew is switched off is unpublished when its cycle ends, with an email warning 7 days before.
How do client accounts work in Duda?
From the Team plan up, you create clients in Client Management and give each one access to specific sites, with permissions set site by site. There's no limit on the number of clients. Team members work differently: they can open every site in the account, so Duda's advice for anyone who should see only certain sites is to add them as a client. On the White Label plan, clients see your logo, favicon and colors instead of Duda's, on your own platform domain.
Can you sell online with Duda?
Yes, by adding a store plan to a site. The store is billed with the site and follows its billing cycle. Standard costs $8 a month, or $7 billed yearly, for 100 products; Advanced costs $22, or $20, for 1,000 products with automatic tax and shipping, subscriptions and digital products; Elite costs $52, or $45, for 20,000 products. All three list a 0% transaction fee. Payments run through Stripe, PayPal, Square or Mollie, and the store can also sell services, tickets, gift vouchers and donations.
Can you export a website from Duda?
Partly. On the Agency plan and above, Site Export downloads a ZIP of the published site's HTML, CSS, JavaScript and media, for sites up to 1 GB. The export leaves out the store, the blog and dynamic pages, and contact forms stop working, though blog posts are available as an RSS feed and store products as a CSV file. Moving an existing site into Duda means rebuilding it in the editor, which Duda says typically takes 3 to 5 hours per site.
